Remove the pressure from hydraulic systems No. 1 and 4 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Do a check of the adjustment of the fairing as shown on Views A-A and B-B, Fig. 507.
(a)
Make sure that you get the clearance between the door fairing and the edge of the outboard wheel well door (View A-A, Fig. 507).
(b)
If you cannot correctly adjust the (previously installed) fairing on the inboard door, readjust the door or replace the fairing (AMM 32-12-05/401).
NOTE: After the initial installation of the fairing to the
____ inboard door, the position of the fairing and the fairing bolts are set . The lateral misfairs can no longer be adjusted.

Move the control handle of the landing gear to the DOWN position to extend the wing landing gear.

Install the ground lockpins of the wing landing gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).

Continue the adjustment of the door fairing of the shock strut for the wing landing gear:
(a)
Install the bolts (3, Fig./507) in the three center holes in the fairing: 1) Drill three 0.250 inch (+0.0015 to -0.000 inch) diameter
holes through the clips on the fairing and the edge stiffener on the inboard door. 2) Install the bolts (3), the washers and the nuts and tighten the nuts.
(b)
Install the bolts (2) in the two end holes:
1) Drill two 0.250 inch (+0.015 to -0.000 inch) diameter holes through the clips on the fairing and the edge stiffener on the inboard door.
2) Install the bolts (2), bonding jumpers, washers and nuts and tighten the nuts.
(c) Install two rivets (4) in the fairing and the inboard door of the shock strut: 1) Drill two holes for the 3/16-inch diameter rivets (View
D-D, Fig. 507). 2) Countersink the holes with 100 degree CSK head. 3) Install the rivets (4).
