(1)
Move the strike board (with stability link attached) into the tracks.
(a)
Install the stability link to the hinge fitting with the bolts, the washers, the nuts and the cotter pins.
(b)
Install the countersunk washer below the bolt head.

(2) Use the minimum necessary quantity of the nuts to install the cotter pin.
NOTE: Use the minimum number of washers to keep a clearance of
____ 0.01 - 0.06 inch below the nut.

Adjust the strike board as shown on Fig. 401.
(a)
Install the rigging pin at point A through the two sides of the link carrier and the link assembly.
(b)
Disconnect the linkage rod of the sequence valve from the rod end fitting at point B.
(c)
Loosen the bolts.
NOTE: Adjust the hinge fitting of the strike board aft and
____ front to get a dimension of 0.60 to 0.70 inch (section A-A, Fig. 401).
(d)
Adjust the hinge fitting vertically to get a maximum dimension of 13.35 inches and a minimum dimension of 1.55-inches (section B-B).
