Remove the lockbolt (7), the nut, and the washer (8) from the bolt (9).

Remove the lockbolt (4), the nut, the washer (3), and the bolt (2) from the shock strut lug.

Lift the walking beam (1) off from the shock strut lug and remove it from the airplane.

Examine the structural attach points for the permitted worn areas (AMM 32-11-15/601).

Lubricate the washer (8), the thread, and the shank of the bolt (9) with grease.

Set the walking beam (1) on the bolt (9) with the clevis inboard.

Install the washer (8) and the nut.
NOTE: Temporarily tighten the nut with your hand.

Lubricate the washers (3), the threads, and the shanks of the bolts

with grease.

Align the walking beam clevis with the lugs on the shock strut.

Install the bolt (2) with the end that has threads that points to the center.

Tighten the nut from 600 to 1200 pound-inches.

Tighten the nut 600 to 1200 pound-inches on the walking beam support.

Loosen the nut to the nearest castellation and install the lockbolt (7).
NOTE: Tighten the self-locking nuts.
