 S 434-009
 (2)  Make sure you install the bushings in the forward hinge support and the aft hinge support.
 NOTE: The flanged of the aft hinge bushing should be on the inner
____ side of the aft hinge support when you install (Detail C, Fig. 401).
 D.  Procedure
 S 424-010
 (1)  
Install the outboard door of the shock strut.

 (a)  
Put the door in its position for installation.

 (b)  
Install the hinge bolts (Details B and C, Fig. 401). 1) Tighten the forward hinge nut 370 - 610 pound-inches. 2) Tighten the aft hinge nut 1000 - 1300 pound-inches.

 (c)  
Clean and install the bonding jumpers.

 (d)  
Connect the linkage rod to the outboard door.

 1)  If you replace or change the length the linkage rod, adjust the rod to 23.50 inches from the center of each rod.

 (e)  
Tighten the nut 290 - 410 pound-inches (Detail A, Fig. 401).

Adjust the outboard door of the shock strut on the wing landing gear (Ref 32-12-00/501).

Install the inboard door of the shock strut on the wing landing gear (Ref 32-12-06/401).

 WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO REMOVE THE
_______ DOOR LOCKS FROM THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (4)  Do this task: "Removal of the Door Locks from the Wing Landing Gear" (Ref 32-00-30/201).

 WING LANDING GEAR SHOCK STRUT OUTBOARD DOOR - INSPECTION/CHECK

 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure contains a task to examine the outboard door of the shock strut on the wing landing gear for worn parts. The parts to examine includes the attach fitting and the hinge assemblies of the outboard door.
 B.  To do this procedure, you must remove the outboard door of the shock strut on the wing landing gear.

Do this task: "Wing Landing Gear Shock Strut Inboard Door Removal" (AMM 32-12-06/401).

 (3)  
Examine the components on the outboard door of the shock strut for worn areas.

 (a)  
Measure the parts at the locations shown in Figure 601.

 (b)  
Compare the measured dimensions to the wear limits in Figure 601.

 (c)  
If a part is not in tolerance, replace the part if you cannot repair it.
