1. General_______
A. The torsion links inspection measures the fit of the pins for the upper torsion link and for the lower torsion link and the apex pin.
B. Removw the upper torsion link, the lower torsion link, and the bolt assemblies to do the inspection.

Remove the torsion links and the pin assemblies (Ref 32-11-14/401).

Examine the worn limits of the pins for the upper torsion link and for the lower torsion link, the apex pin, the bearings, and the bushings.
(a)
Measure the parts if it is necessary and compare the measured dimensions to the limit dimensions.
(b)
If the part is not in the tolerance, repair or replace it when it is necessary.

(3) Install the upper and the lower torsion links and the pin assemblies (Ref 32-11-14/401).
