1. General_______
A. This procedure has four tasks:
(1)
The removal of the truck shield for the wing landing gear.
(2)
The installation of the truck shield for the wing landing gear.
(3)
The removal of the bumper for the wing landing gear.
(4)
The installation of the bumper for the wing landing gear.
B.
The truck shield is attached to the truck with bolts.
C.
The bumper is attached to Clamp B, which is located just forward of the inner cylinder.

Remove the Truck Shield (Fig. 401):
(a)
Disconnect the hydraulic guides from the shield and the forward bracket.
(b)
Disconnect the brake rod lanyards from the truck shield.
(c)
Remove the six bolts that attach the truck shield to the two forward brackets and one aft bracket.
(d)
Remove the six bolts that attach the truck shield to the pull box.
(e)
Remove the truck shield from the airplane.
