_______ SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Supply hydraulic pressure to system No. 4 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Do a check of the operation of the downlock actuator:
(a)
Move the control handle to the DN position and hold for 3 minutes.
(b)
Look for movement of the actuator piston rod when you supply hydraulic pressure to the lock port.
NOTE: Movement of the piston will push the jury strut to the

OVERCENTER (locked) position.
(c)
Do a check of the hydraulic connections for leaks.
(d)
Push the lock override button for the control handle.
(e)
Move the control handle to the UP position and hold for 3 minutes.
(f)
Look for movement of the actuator piston rod when you supply hydraulic pressure to the UNLOCK port.
NOTE: Movement of the piston will push the jury strut against
____
the ground locks.
(g) Open the bleed valve (18) on the head end of the actuator to bleed the valve.

Close the bleed valve.
(i)
Do a check of the hydraulic connections for leaks.
(j)
Move the control handle to the DN position.

_______ THE DOOR LOCKS FROM THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

WING LANDING GEAR DOWNLOCK BUNGEE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure contains these two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the downlock bungee for the wing landing gear
(2)
The installation of the downlock bungee for the wing landing gear.
B.
To remove the downlock bungee these operations are necessary:
(1)
Install the bungee clamp.
(2)
Remove the attach bolts from each end of the bungee.
(3)
Remove the bungee.
(4)
Remove the bungee clamp.
C.
To install the downlock bungee these operations are necessary:
(1)
Install the bungee clamp.
(2)
Connect the bungee at the two ends with the bolts.
(3)
Remove the bungee clamp.
