Install the hydraulic fittings in the selector valve (1) (Fig. 401):
(a)
Lubricate the adapter fittings (5 and 9), new O-rings (2,4,6 and 8) and backup rings (3 and 7) with Skydrol Assembly Lube.
(b)
Install the adapter fittings (5 and 9), new O-rings (2,4,6 and 8) and backup rings (3 and 7) in the selector valve (1).

Fill the valve (1) with fire-resistant hydraulic fluid.

Install a cap on the valve ports.

Install the selector valve (1):
(a)
Apply the wet primer to all areas of the bolt holes.
(b)
Install the selector valve (1) in its position.
(c)
Install the mounting bolts (10) and washers (11).
(d)
Attach the selector valve crank (12) to the valve shaft.
NOTE: The joint with splines has index marks on it to make
____ sure you put the shaft in the correct position.
(e)
Apply the corrosion preventive compound around all areas of the joint.
(f)
Remove the caps and plugs from the hydraulic hoses.
(g)
Connect the hydraulic hoses to the valve (1).

Remove the rigging pin from the selector valve quadrant.

Move the control handle to the UP and DN position, two or three times.
NOTE:____This will open and close the wheel well doors. The correct operation of the wheel well doors shows the selector valve works correctly.
