(h) Move the valve outboard.
NOTE: This will remove all the load between the valve clevis

and the link (9).
(i)
Disconnect the bolt (3) that holds the link to the clevis.
(j)
Remove the valve.
(k)
Remove the hydraulic fittings from the valve.
(l)
Install plugs on the valve ports.

(1)
Install the valve (Fig. 401):
(a)
Install the hydraulic fittings with new O-rings and backup rings in the ports of the valve. 1) Lubricate the O-rings, the backup rings and the fittings
with Skydrol Assembly Lube when you install them.
(b)
Put the valve in the approximate position with the clevis end of the valve aligned with the link (9) in the carrier.
(c)
Install the bolt (3) with the countersunk washer adjacent to the bolt head and the plain washer adjacent to the nut.
(d)
Tighten the nut to 25-50 pound-inches.
(e)
Install the four bolts (4) that connect the carrier to the valve with thin washers adjacent to the bolt head and the nut.
(f)
Tighten the nuts to 25-50 pound-inches.

(g)
Install the bolts (2) into the nutplates on the structure with thin washers adjacent to the bolt heads.
(h)
Remove the caps and plugs from the hydraulic lines.
(i)
Connect the hydraulic lines to the valve.

WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY INSTALL THE GROUND LOCKS IN ALL LANDING
_______ GEAR. AN ACCIDENTAL RETRACTION OF THE LANDING GEAR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Install the ground locks in all landing gear (Ref 09-11-00/201).
