(1)
Remove the sequence valve (Fig. 401):
(a)
Disconnect the hydraulic hoses from the valve.
(b)
Install the caps on the hydraulic hoses.
(c)
Hold the rod against the spring pressure and disconnect the rod from the uplock mechanism.
(d)
Release the spring pressure.
(e)
Disconnect the rod from the valve.
(f)
Remove the three valve attach bolts and remove the valve.
(g)
Remove the hydraulic fittings from the valve.
(h)
Install the plugs in the valve ports.

(1)
Install the hydraulic fittings in the sequence valve:
(a)
Lubricate the O-rings, the backup rings, and the fittings with Skydrol Assembly Lube.
(b)
Install the hydraulic fittings with the new O-rings and the backup rings in the ports of the sequence valve.

Install the sequence valve (Fig. 401):
(a)
Put the sequence valve in its position.
(b)
Install the three attach bolts with thin washers adjacent to the bolt heads.
(c)
Connect the rod to the valve clevis with thin washers adjacent to the bolt head and the nut.
(d)
Install a nut and a cotter pin.
(e)
Push the rod against the valve spring until the holes in the rod end and the uplock mechanism align.
(f)
Connect the rod to the uplock mechanism: 1) Install the attach bolt with the thin washers adjacent to the bolt head. 2) Install the large steel washers on the two sides of the rod
end bearing. 3) Install the nut and a cotter pin.
(g)
Make sure the uplock hook is in the open (gear down) position.
(h)
Make sure the bar on the valve slide is between the edges of the slot (detail C).
NOTE: The slot is on the aft end of the valve.

Remove the caps and the plugs.
(j)
Connect the hydraulic lines to the valve.
