Move the control handle to the UP and DN position, two or three times.
NOTE:____This will open and close the wheel well doors. The correct operation of the wheel well doors shows the selector valve works correctly.

LANDING GEAR SELECTOR VALVE QUADRANTS - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the selector valve quadrant for the wing landing gear
(2)
The removal of the selector valve quadrant for the body landing gear and nose landing gear
(3)
The installation of the selector valve quadrant for the wing landing gear
(4)
The installation of the selector valve quadrant for the body landing gear and the nose landing gear.
B.
To remove the selector valve quadrants these steps are necessary:
(1)
Disconnect the turnbuckles until the cables are loose at the quadrant.
(2)
Disconnect the control rod assembly from the quadrant clevis.
(3)
Disconnect the quadrant from the structure.
(4)
Disconnect the cables from the quadrant.
C.
To install the selector valve quadrants these steps are necessary:
(1)
Connect the cables to the quadrant.
(2)
Connect the quadrant to the structure.
(3)
Connect the control rod assembly to the quadrant clevis.
(4)
Adjust the control system for the landing gear.
(5)
Do the system test for the control system.
D.
There are two selector valves and two selector valve quadrants for the landing gear. One quadrant is for the selector valve for the wing landing gear. One quadrant is for the selector valve for the nose landing gear and the body landing gear.
