Install the ground locks in all landing gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).

Lift the airplane on jacks (AMM 07-11-01/201).

Ground the airplane through the bolt heads that are not painted (AMM 20-41-01/201).

(1) Pressurize hydraulic systems No. 1 and 4 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Move all persons away from all landing gear doors.

Make sure the GND TESTS switch on the P461 overhead panel is in the ENABLE position.

Make sure that the RCDU GND TESTS switch is in the NORMAL position.

Do a test of the indication for the wing landing gear and door:
(a)
Move the control lever for the landing gear to the DN position.
(b)
Make sure the GEAR DOOR (ADVISORY) indication is not in view on the top EICAS display.
(c)
Make sure the GEAR DISAGREE (CAUTION) indication is not in view on the top EICAS display.
(d)
Turn the EIU switch on the P2-4 panel between L, C, and R. 1) Make sure the GEAR DISAGREE (CAUTION) indication does not come into view for the three EIUs.
2) Make sure the GEAR DOOR (ADVISORY) indication does not come into view for the three EIUs.
(e)
Move the control lever to the OFF position.
