1) Make sure that the angular travel in the retract direction is not more than 15 degrees.
(f)
Move the control lever to the DN position. 1) Make sure the main landing gear extend. 2) Make sure the main landing gear is in the down and locked
position.

Move the control lever to the OFF position.

Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition.

WING LANDING GEAR ACTUATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains these two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the actuator for the wing landing gear
(2)
The installation of the actuator for the wing landing gear.
B.
To remove the actuator these operations are necessary:
(1)
Disconnect the hydraulic hoses from the actuator.
(2)
Remove the walking beam for the wing landing gear.
(3)
Remove the bolt that attaches the walking beam to the hanger.
(4)
Remove the bolts that attach the actuator.
(5)
Use the hoist to remove the actuator.
C.
To install the actuator these operations are necessary:
(1)
Use the hoist to install the actuator.
(2)
Connect the head end of the actuator and the walking beam to the hanger.
(3)
Install the bolt that attaches the rod end of the actuator.
(4)
Connect the hydraulic hose to the actuator.
(5)
Do a check for leaks.
D.
The actuator for the wing landing gear is between the trunnion and the walking beam and the hanger. You must remove the walking beam before you remove the actuator. Because the actuator is very heavy, you must use a hoist adapter to remove it.
