WING LANDING GEAR UPLOCK ACTUATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure contains these two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the uplock actuator for the wing landing gear
(2)
The installation of the uplock actuator for the wing landing gear.
B.
To remove the uplock actuator these operations are necessary:
(1)
Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the actuator.
(2)
Disconnect the actuator at the rod end and the head end.
(3)
Remove the actuator.
(4)
Remove the hydraulic fittings from the actuator.
C.
To install the uplock actuator these operations are necessary:
(1)
Install the hydraulic fittings in the actuator.
(2)
Extend the actuator and fill it with hydraulic fluid.
(3)
Install the actuator.
(4)
Connect the hydraulic lines to the actuator.
(5)
Make sure the uplock hook operates correctly.
(6)
Make sure the uplock actuator does not have leaks.
