To remove the uplock-operated sequence valve these operations are necessary:
(1)
Disconnect the hydraulic lines.
(2)
Remove the valve.
(3)
Remove the hydraulic fittings from the valve.
C.
To install the uplock-operated sequence valve these operations are necessary:
(1)
Install the hydraulic fittings in the valve.
(2)
Make sure the white bar on the valve slide is in the correct position.
(3)
Connect the hydraulic lines to the valve.
(4)
Do a check of the operation of the valve.
D.
The mechanism for the uplock-operated sequence valve contains an actuator rod. The rod attaches to the sequence valve and the uplock mechanism. To remove the rod, disconnect it at the two ends.
E.
The sequence valve permits hydraulic pressure from system No. 4 to the side of the door actuator that closes the doors. It hydraulically connects with the downlock-operated sequence valve.
F.
The uplock-operated sequence valve is above and in the aft direction of the uplock hook mechanism. The sequence valves attach to the structure on the outboard side of the wheel well of the wing landing gear.

(1) Install the ground locks in all landing gear (Ref 09-11-00/201).

Remove the Valve.

Remove the valve (Fig. 401):
(a)
Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the valve.
(b)
Install a cap on the hydraulic lines.
(c)
Disconnect the actuator rod from the valve.
(d)
Remove the three bolts that attach the valve.
(e)
Remove the valve from the airplane.

If it is not necessary to remove the hydraulic fittings for a new valve, install a cap on the fittings.

Remove the hydraulic fittings from the valve if it is necessary to install them on the new valve.
