 NOTE: You can use a metal uplock actuating tool to move the uplock

 Do an operational test of the uplock hook:

 (a)  
Move the control handle for the landing gear to the DN position.

 (b)  
Make sure the uplock hook moves to the open position and stays.

 (14) Make sure the white bar on the valve slide is between the edges of the slot (AMM 32-33-07/401).
 NOTE: The slot is on the aft edge of the sequence valve.

Remove the pressure from hydraulic system 1 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

 BODY LANDING GEAR UPLOCK MECHANISM - INSPECTION/CHECK

 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure contains a task to examine the uplock mechanism for the body landing gear for worn areas.
 B.  To do the inspection of the uplock mechanism, examine these parts for worn areas:
 (1)  
The uplock hook

 (2)  
The uplock roller

 (3)  
The uplock actuator

 (4)  
The attach bolts for the uplock actuator.

 C.  
You must remove the uplock actuator for the body landing gear to do the inspection/check.
