BODY LANDING GEAR UPLOCK ACTUATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure contains these two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the uplock actuator for the body landing gear
(2)
The installation of the uplock actuator for the body landing gear.
B.
To remove the uplock actuator these operations are necessary:
(1)
Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the actuator.
(2)
Remove the actuator.
(3)
Remove the hydraulic fittings from the actuator.
C.
To install the uplock actuator these operations are necessary:
(1)
Install the hydraulic fittings in the actuator.
(2)
Fill the actuator with the hydraulic fluid.
(3)
Install the actuator.
(4)
Connect the hydraulic lines to the actuator.
(5)
Do a check of the actuator for leaks.

(1) Install the ground locks in all landing gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).

Do this task: "Wing Landing Gear Door Lock Installation" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Remove the hydraulic pressure from system No. 1 (AMM 29-11-00/201).
D.
Remove the Uplock Actuator.

(1)
Remove the uplock actuator (1) (Fig. 401):
(a)
Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the actuator.
(b)
Install the caps on the hydraulic lines.
(c)
Remove the bolt (12) from the actuator (1) rod end.
(d)
Remove the nut (4) from the hook pivot pin (3).
(e)
Remove the actuator (1) from the uplock assembly.
(f)
Remove the hydraulic fittings (13 and 18) from the actuator (1).
(g)
Install the plugs in the hydraulic ports.
