Make sure that the GEAR DISAGREE (CAUTION) indication comes into view on the top EICAS display.
NOTE: The GEAR DISAGREE indication will not show for
____ approximately 25 to 35 seconds after you move the control lever. This occurs when you move the control lever from the DN to OFF or the DN to UP positions.
(g) Turn the EIU switch on the P2-4 panel between L, C, and R.
1) Make sure the GEAR DISAGREE (CAUTION) indication comes into view for the three EIUs.

(h) Move the control lever to the UP position.
1) Make sure that the GEAR DISAGREE (CAUTION) indication comes
into view on the top EICAS display.
(i) Make sure that the GEAR DOOR (ADVISORY) indication comes into
view on the top EICAS display when the doors are open.
NOTE:____ The GEAR DOOR indication will not come into view for
approximately 25 to 35 seconds after the doors open.
(j) Make sure that the top EICAS display shows a symbol for each of
the five landing gear.
NOTE:____ If the landing gear moves while in the locked down
position, an in-transit condition can show. This can
occur as an alternative to the DN condition.
(k) Make sure the lower EICAS display shows that all five landing
gear doors are open (five slashed boxes).
(l) Turn the EIU switch on the P2-4 panel between L, C, and R.
1) Make sure the GEAR DOOR display shows for the three EIUs.
2) Make sure the lower EICAS display for all landing gear
shows for the three EIUs.

(6) Do this task: "Installation of the Handle Locks on the Ground Release Handles for the Main Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).
