(2) S 024-032Disconnect the hydraulic hoses from the actuator.
(3) S 024-033Remove the hose clamps (6) from the clamp assembly around the actuator.
(4) S 034-034Install a cap on the hydraulic hoses.
(5) S 024-007Remove each half of the walking beam (2) (AMM 32-11-15/401).

WARNING: MAKE SURE THE ATTACH POINT FOR THE HOIST IS CORRECTLY IN THE
_______ KEYHOLE SLOT. FAILURE TO DO THIS CAN CAUSE THE HOIST TO FALL AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Install the actuator sling.

Use the hoist to remove the load.

Do the steps that follow to remove the bolt (3) from the walking beam (2):
(a)
Remove the antirotation bolt (20) through the wide spacer (26) and the bolt (3).
(b)
Remove the antirotation bolt (20) through the narrow spacer (23) and the bolt (3).
(c)
Remove the lockwire between spacer nut (24) and narrow spacer (23).
(d)
Use the torque wrench adapter to loosen the spacer nut (24) on the threaded spacer (25).
(e)
Move the bolt (3) aft until the actuator head end is free.
NOTE: You can use the removal tool to move the bolt if it is
____ necessary. You must keep the parts in the same sequence that you removed them.
(f) Observe direction of Flanged Spacers (7), (9), (10).

Remove the actuator (1):
(a)
Remove the nut (35), the washer (36) and the lockbolt (39).

Remove the nut (37) and the washer (38).
(c)
Install the thread protector on the threads of the attach bolt (5).
(d)
Remove the attach bolt (5), the spacers (32), the washers (33), and the sleeve (34).
(e)
Use the actuator sling to remove the actuator (1) from the airplane.
(f)
Remove the tube assembly (4) and the clip (14) from the actuator (1).
