(b)
Make sure that all pulleys and quadrants turn freely.
(c)
Make sure that the pulleys and quadrants do not touch the cable guards.
(d)
Make sure the fairleads, rub strips or grommets do not move the cables from the adjusted position of operation.
(e)
After you adjust the system, do the checks that follow: 1) Make sure the cables do not touch the pulley or the quadrant flanges for the total cable movement
2) Make sure the cable is in 2 degrees of the plane of the pulley or quadrant.
(f)
Do a check of the cable tension in cables LGV1A, LGV1B, LGV2A and LGV2B. 1) Make sure the tension is to the value in Fig. 505.
I.
Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition.

(1) Put the landing gear handle in the DN position.

_______ THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Remove the door locks from the doors for the wing landing gear (AMM 32-00-30/201).

3. Operational Test of the Control System for the Landing Gear___________________________________________________________
A. General
(1)
Use this test to make sure the control system for the landing gear operates correctly. Use this test to make sure that the selector valves operate correctly with minimum control system movement.
(2)
If you make very small adjustments, you do not have to adjust the control handle for the landing gear. But you must do the operational test of the landing gear doors.
