Put the bolt head in the antirotation retainer assembly.
(d)
Install the washer (14) and the nut (15).
(e)
Tighten the nut (15) to 50-60 pound-feet.
(f)
Loosen the nut to the nearest castellation.
(g)
Install the lockbolt (19), the washers (17, and 18), and the nut (15).
(h)
Remove the sling and the hoist.
(i)
Hold the actuator (2).
NOTE: Do this to make sure the rod end can move freely and
____
will not hit something.
(j)
Extend the rod end.
(k)
Fill the actuator (2) with BMS 3-11, hydraulic fluid.
(l)
Connect the hydraulic hoses to the actuator (2).
NOTE: All the hoses to the actuator ports must be the high
____ pressure type. You must install the hoses vertically (not crossed).

(3) Install the ground locks in all landing gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).

Do a check of the extension and retraction of the actuator:
(a)
Move the control handle for the landing gear to the DN position and the UP position five times.
NOTE:____ This will operate the actuator through five cycles. If
the actuator does not operate, it is possible the
door-operated sequence valve is not fully open.
(b) If the actuator does not operate when you move the control
handle, do these steps:
1) Make sure pressure is available to the actuator.
2) Push on the door and make sure you can see the rigging pin
hole for the door-operated sequence valve.
(c) Make sure the rod end of the actuator extends when you move the
control handle to the DN position.
NOTE:____ This shows that you connected the hydraulic hoses
correctly.
(d) Make sure there is no leakage at the actuator fittings.
