RUBBER SLEEVE
(1/2 INCH ID X 1/8 INCH THICK)
_______DO NOT USE THIS TOOL IF THE RUBBER SLEEVE IS DAMAGED.
CAUTION: EXAMINE THE SLEEVE FOR DAMAGE BEFORE AND AFTER USE. INSTALL A NEW SLEEVE IF IT IS DAMAGED. THE TOOL CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE UPLOCK MECHANISM.

Install the Uplock Hook.

Apply a thin layer of BMS 3-27 corrosion preventive compound to the threads of pivot pin (6).

Align hook (17) with assembly. Install pivot pin (6) with head toward hydraulic actuator. Install washer (26) and nut (25), tighten nut to 100 lb-in (0.11 N-m). Loosen nut if necessary to install cotter pin (24). View C-C.

Apply a thin layer of grease to faying surfaces of link and hook (17).

Align hook (17) and link. Install bolt (22) with washer (23) under head. Install washer (21) and nut (20). Torque to 100 lb-in (0.11 N-m). Loosen as needed to install cotter pin (19). View B-B.
