(5) Move the ground release handle for the doors for the main landing gear to the DOORS CLOSED position.
NOTE: The handle is in the aft inboard corner of the wheel well of
____ the body landing gear. You can get to the handle through the strut door opening. Hydraulic pressure will cause the doors to close.

(6) Remove systems No. 1 and No. 4 hydraulic power if it is not necessary (AMM 29-11-00/201).

1. General

A. This procedure contains a task to examine the uplock mechanism for the wing landing gear for worn areas.
B. To do the inspection of the uplock mechanism, examine these parts for worn areas:
(1)
The uplock hook
(2)
The uplock roller
(3)
The uplock actuator
(4)
The attach bolts for the uplock actuator.
C.
You must remove the uplock actuator for the wing landing gear to do the inspection/check.

(b)
The rod end bolt and bushing of the actuator

The head end bolt and bushing of the actuator.
(3)
Measure the dimensions shown on figure 601.
