Remove the Uplock Mechanism.

(1) Disconnect each end of the uplock actuator and hold the actuator to one side (AMM 32-33-14/401).
NOTE:____The uplock actuator is part of the assembly. It is not necessary to fully remove it when you remove the uplock mechanism. Do not disconnect the actuator hoses unless you must install a new actuator.

(2) Disconnect the forward end of the rod that operates the sequence valve from the uplock assembly (AMM 32-33-07/401).

CAUTION:DO NOT USE THIS TOOL IF THE RUBBER SLEEVE IS DAMAGED. EXAMINE THE SLEEVE FOR DAMAGE BEFORE AND AFTER USE. INSTALL A NEW SLEEVE IF IT IS DAMAGED. THE TOOL CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE UPLOCK MECHANISM.

(3) S 034-008Remove the two bolts that attach the forward end of the sequence valve bracket to the uplock assembly.
(4) S 034-009Remove the four bolts that attach the sequence valve bracket to the structure.
(5) S 014-034Move the valve and the bracket away to get to the mounting bolt.
(6) S 014-010Disconnect the uplock sensor (AMM 32-61-11/201).
(7) S 014-035Remove the clamps that attach the sensor conduit.
(8) S 034-036Loosen the conduit nut at the junction box.
(9) S 014-037Move the conduit away from the mechanism to permit the removal of the mechanism.
