NOTE: The slot is on the aft end of the valve.

BODY LANDING GEAR UPLOCK MECHANISM - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains these two tasks:
(1)
The removal of the uplock mechanism for the body landing gear
(2)
The installation of the uplock mechanism for the body landing gear.
B.
To remove the uplock mechanism these operations are necessary:
(1)
Disconnect the uplock actuator.
(2)
Disconnect the operator rod from the uplock-operated sequence valve.
(3)
Disconnect the uplock sensor.
(4)
Disconnect the cables.
(5)
Remove the electrical actuator.
(6)
Remove the uplock mechanism.
C.
To install the uplock mechanism these operations are necessary:
(1)
Connect the rod to the uplock assembly.
(2)
Install the uplock sensor.
(3)
Connect the uplock actuator.
(4)
Connect the cables.
(5)
Adjust the cables.
(6)
Install the electrical actuator.
(7)
Do an operational test of the alternate extension system for the body landing gear.
(8)
Do an operational test of the extension and retraction system for the body landing gear.
(9)
Make sure the uplock-operated sequence valve aligns correctly.
