(1) Install the ground locks in all landing gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).

_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Do this task: "Body Landing Gear Door Lock Installation" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Do this task: "Wing Landing Gear Door Lock Installation" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Remove the hydraulic pressure from system No. 4 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Remove the Uplock Actuator.

(1)
Remove the uplock actuator (1) (Fig. 401):
(a)
Disconnect the hydraulic lines (8 and 9) from the actuator (1).
(b)
Install caps on the hydraulic lines.
(c)
Remove the lower attach bolt (18) from the actuator rod end (1).
(d)
Remove the nut (6) from the hook pivot pin (14).
(e)
Remove the actuator (1) from the uplock assembly.
(f)
Remove the hydraulic fittings (2 and 10) from the actuator (1).
(g)
Install plugs in the ports of the hydraulic fittings.

_______DO NOT USE THIS TOOL IF THE RUBBER SLEEVE IS DAMAGED.
CAUTION: IT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE UPLOCK DRIVE MECHANISM. EXAMINE THE SLEEVE FOR DAMAGE BEFORE AND AFTER USE. INSTALL A NEW SLEEVE IF IT IS DAMAGED.
