 close time. From the ground, measure the time for
 the door to close. Start to measure the time as
 soon as the doors start to close.
 (e)  Move the landing gear lever to the UP position.
 1) Make sure that the gear is up and locked.
 a) Make sure the components attached to the landing gear
 do not interfere with the landing gear as it retracts.
 (f)  Move the landing gear control lever to the OFF position.
 (g)  Move the landing gear control lever to the "DN" position and
 then move the landing gear control lever to the "UP" position
 uniformly over a period of approximately 3 seconds when the
 landing gear is half way down.
 1) Make sure that the motion of the landing gear reverses.
 2) Make sure that the landing gear goes to its retracted
 position.
 a) Make sure the components attached to the landing gear
 do not interfere with the landing gear as it retracts.
 3) Make sure that the landing gear doors close.
 4) Make sure that there is no leakage of fluid from the body
 landing gear hydraulic system.
 5) Make sure that there is no mechanical damage.
 6) Make sure that there is no interference between the body
 landing gear and the body landing gear doors.
 (h)  Move the landing gear handle to the "DN" position after the
 gear "UP" indication appears on the EICAS upper panel.
 1) Make sure that the landing gear is down and locked.
 a) Make sure the components attached to the landing gear
 do not interfere with the landing gear as it extends.
 (i)  Move the landing gear control lever to the "UP" position and
 then move the landing gear control lever to the "DN" position
 uniformly over a time period of approximately 3 seconds when
 the landing gear are approximately half way up.
 1) Make sure that the landing gear goes to its down and locked
 position.
 a) Make sure the components attached to the landing gear
 do not interfere with the landing gear as it extends.
 2) Make sure that there is no leakage of fluid from the body
 landing gear hydraulic system.
 3) Make sure that there is no mechanical damage.
 4) Make sure that there is no interference between the body
 landing gear and the body landing gear doors.
 (j)  Move the landing gear control lever to the "OFF" position after
 gear "DOWN" indication appears on the EICAS upper panel.

If no longer required, make sure that hydraulic systems No. 1 and 4 are not pressurized (AMM 29-11-00/201).

If no longer required, remove electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
