(1) Install the ground locks in all landing gear (Ref 09-11-00/201).

Remove the pressure from hydraulic system No. 1 (Ref 29-11-00/201).

Remove the valve mechanism (Fig. 401):
(a)
Remove the bolts (5).
(b)
Remove the striker arm (4) from the upper jury strut.
(c)
Remove the bolts (10 and 14).
(d)
Remove the clevis assembly (9), the lever (7), and the link (11).
(e)
Remove the bolt (8).
(f)
Remove the link (11).
(g)
Remove the bolt (13).
(h)
Disconnect the lever assembly from the clevis.
(i)
Remove the roller (12) from the lever (7).

(1)
Install the valve mechanism (Fig. 401):
(a)
Install the roller (12) on the lever (7).
(b)
Install the lever (7) in the clevis with the bolt (13).
(c)
Install the link (11) on the clevis (9) with the bolt (8).
(d)
Connect the link (11) to the valve with the bolt (10).
(e)
Connect the clevis (9) to the valve with the four bolts (14) and the thin washers adjacent to the bolt heads.
(f)
Install the lockwire through the bolt heads.
(g)
Install the striker arm (4) on the upper jury strut with the bolts (5).

Adjust the valve mechanism:
(a)
Install the rigging pin through the clevis assembly and the link.
