(12) Connect the rod end of the actuator to the shock strut boss:
NOTE: If you cannot engage the rod end to the boss, make sure the
____ landing gear door is fully open. This will release the fluid from the RETURN side of the actuator.
(a)
Install the cres washer (1) as shown in Figure 401 View B.
(b)
Apply a full layer of the corrosion preventive compound to the inner surface of the bearing and the boss.
(c)
Install the rod end of the actuator (2) on the boss.
(d)
Fill the recess between the boss and the washer (3) with the corrosion preventive compound (View A-A).
(e)
Install the washer (3), washer (4) and washer (10).
(f)
Install the nut (5).
(g)
Tighten the nut (5) to 50-60 pound-feet.
NOTE: You can use a crow-foot adapter on the torque wrench.

(h)
Loosen the nut (5) to the nearest castellation.
(i)
Install the bracket (32).
(j)
Install the lockbolt (6), the washer (7 and 8) and the nut (9).
H.
Put the Airplane to Its Usual Condition.

Remove hydraulic pressure from system No. 1 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Apply the grease to the actuator rod end (AMM 12-21-01/301).

_______ THE DOOR LOCKS FROM THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

BODY LANDING GEAR DOOR-OPERATED SEQUENCE VALVE AND MECHANISM -

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains these four tasks:
(1)
The removal of the door-operated sequence valve of the body landing gear
(2)
The installation of the door-operated sequence valve of the body landing gear
(3)
The removal of the mechanism for the door-operated sequence valve of the body landing gear
(4)
The installation of the mechanism for the door-operated sequence valve of the body landing gear.
B.
To remove the door-operated sequence valve these steps are necessary:
(1)
Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the valve and install caps.
(2)
Remove the valve cover.
(3)
Disconnect the rod from the door for the body landing gear.
(4)
Remove the sequence valve.
C.
To install the door-operated sequence valve these steps are necessary:
(1)
Install the hydraulic fitting.
(2)
Install the sequence valve.
(3)
Remove the caps and connect the hydraulic lines to the valve.
(4)
Do a check of the door open adjustment.
D.
To remove the mechanism for the door-operated sequence valve these steps are necessary:
