WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY INSTALL THE GROUND LOCKS IN ALL LANDING
_______ GEAR. AN ACCIDENTAL RETRACTION OF THE LANDING GEAR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Make sure you install the ground locks in all landing gear (Ref 09-11-00/201).

WARNING:_______ YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASKS BELOW TO INSTALL
THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE
QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS
CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Doors for the Wing Landing Gear" (Ref 32-00-30/201).

(3) Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Doors for the
Body Landing Gear" (Ref 32-00-30/201).

(4) Make sure there is no pressure to hydraulic system No. 4
(Ref 29-11-00/201).

(5) Install the selector valve quadrant (Fig. 401 and 404):
(a) Connect the cables to the quadrant.
(b) Install the cotter pins.
(c) Apply corrosion preventive compound to the bolt hole for the
quadrant attach bolt.
(d) Install the quadrant into the quadrant bracket.
(e) Install the quadrant attach bolt.
(f) Connect the control rod assembly to the quadrant clevis:
1) Apply the wet primer to all areas of the hole and
immediately install the bolt, washer, and bushing.
2) If the bolt does not have a hole in the shank for a cotter
pin, install a self-locking nut.
a) Tighten the self-locking nut to the approved torque
value.
3) If the bolt has a hole in the shank for a cotter pin, do
the steps that follow:
a) Install a nut that has castellations.
b) Tighten the nut to a torque range of 20 to 40
pound-inches.
c) If it is necessary, increase the torque to 60
pound-inches maximum to align the castellation with the
hole in the bolt.
d) Install the cotter pin.

(6) Adjust the control system for the landing gear (Ref 32-31-00/501).
