WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY INSTALL THE GROUND LOCKS IN ALL LANDING
_______ GEAR. AN ACCIDENTAL RETRACTION OF THE LANDING GEAR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1)
Install the ground locks in all landing gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).
(2)
Remove the pressure from hydraulic system 4 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(3) Do this task: "Landing Gear Door Lock Installation" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
P6, Main Power Distribution Panel
1) 6C28, ALT LG EXT NOSE
2) 6C31, ALT LG EXT BODY L
3) 6C32, ALT LG EXT BODY R

Remove the Uplock Hook.

(1) Disconnect each end of the uplock actuator and move the actuator to the side (AMM 32-32-14/401).
NOTE: The uplock actuator remains in the plane. Do not remove the hydraulic lines.

WARNING:_______USE EXTREME CARE WHEN YOU REMOVE THE SPRINGS. SPRING TENSION CAN INJURE PERSONNEL OR DAMAGE PARTS.

Remove and discard cotter pin (15), remove nut (16), washer (14) and bolt (18). Move springs clear of hook (17). View A-A.

Remove and discard cotter pin (19), remove nut (20), washer (21), and bolt (22). Move link clear of hook (17). View B-B.

Remove and discard cotter pin (24), remove nut (25), washer (26), and pivot pin (6). Pull hook (17) out of assembly. View C-C.
