 2)  Make sure the door open indication does not show for more than 25 seconds.
 3)  Make sure the movement of the gear doors is smooth and moves at a linear rate.
 4)  Make sure the time for the main gear door to close is not more than 6 seconds.
 NOTE:____ Do not use the EICAS indication to measure the door
 close time. From the ground, measure the time for the doors to close. Start to measure the time when
 the doors start to close.
 (e) (f) (g) (h)  Move the control lever to the UP position. 1) Make sure there is no interference between the components attached to the landing gear and the landing gear when the gear retracts. 2) Make sure the landing gear is up and locked.Move the control lever to the OFF position.Move the control lever to the DN position.When the landing gear is in the half extended position, immediately move the control lever to the UP position.
 NOTE:____ You must smoothly move the control lever from the DN position to the UP position in approximately 3 seconds.

 (k) When the landing gear is in the half retracted position, N immediately move the control lever to the DN position.
 NOTE: You must smoothly move the control lever from the UP
____ position to the DN position in approximately 3 seconds.
 1) Make sure the direction of the landing gear changes. 2) Make sure that the landing gear goes to the down and locked

 Do these steps to check the mechanical lock hook on each truck of the main landing gear (Fig. 501):

 (a)  
Move the ground release handles for the main landing gear to the DOORS OPEN position.

 (b)  
Remove the ground lock from the serviced gear.

 (c)  
Move the control lever to the UP position.

 (d)  
Increase the pressure slowly in hydraulic system No. 4 until the mechanical lock hook engages the roller. (AMM 29-11-00/201). 1) Make sure the mechanical lock hook engages the roller.

 (e)  
Measure the angular travel of the oleo from the gear down N position to the position where the truck fully locks up.


 NOTE: You must put the inclinometer on a straight area of the
____ oleo cylinder to accurately measure the oleo travel.
