Procedure

(1)
Install the hydraulic fittings if they are not in the valve:
(a)
Lubricate the O-rings, the backup rings and the fittings with the Skydrol Assembly Lube or the hydraulic fluid.
(b)
Install the hydraulic fittings with the O-rings and backup rings installed in the ports.

(2)
Install the valve (Fig. 401):
(a)
Attach the sequence valve with the three bolts and the thin washers.
(b)
Connect the actuator rod to the valve clevis with the thin washers adjacent to the bolt head and the nut.
(c)
Install the nut and the cotter pin.

Make sure the uplock hook is in the open (gear down) position.

Make sure the bar on the valve slide is between the two edges of the slot.

Remove the caps and plugs from the hydraulic lines.
(6)
Connect the hydraulic lines to the valve.

THE DOOR LOCKS FROM THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN
CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY.
THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Make sure the control handle for the landing gear is in the DN position.
