THE INDICATIONS OCCUR - Hold the UP/LT test switch on the No. 1 VHF NAV control
panel in the UP/LT position.
Make sure this sequence occurs:
These indications occur for approximately three seconds:

1.  
The glide slope pointers on the captain's EADI and EHSI are out of view

2.
The localizer pointers on the captain's EADI and EHSI are out of view. These indications occur after approximately three seconds:


1.  
The glide slope pointers on the captain's EADI and EHSI move one dot in the up direction

2.  
The localizer pointers on the captain's EADI and EHSI move one dot in the left direction.


These indications occur after approximately 23 seconds:
1.  
The glide slope pointers on the captain's EADI and EHSI go out of view

2.
The localizer pointers on the captain's EADI and EHSI go out of view. Release the UP/LT test switch. IF -
