B. Access
(1) Location Zone
201 Lower Nose Compartment
C. Procedure
S 864-004
(1) Make sure this circuit breaker is open with a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag attached:
(a) P6 Load Control Center - Right
1) WEATHER RADAR R/T

(2) Install the blower assembly on the R/T mount:
(a)
Remove the dust caps from the electrical connectors on the R/T mount and on the blower assembly.
(b)
Put the blower assembly on the R/T mount.
(c)
Attach the blower assembly to the R/T mount with the four screws.
(d)
Connect the electrical connector to the blower assembly.

(3)
Make sure the screws and lock washers that attach the waveguide to the R/T mount waveguide are correctly installed.

(4)
Make sure the R/T mount is correctly installed on the shelf assembly.

(5)
Make sure the electrical connectors for the R/T mount are correctly installed.
(6)
Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker:

(8) Do this task to install the R/T on the R/T mount: Receiver/Transmitter Installation (AMM 34-41-41/401).

WARNING:_______DO NOT TOUCH THE R/T MOUNT CONNECTOR. AC AND DC VOLTAGES ARE PRESENT WHEN THE WEATHER RADAR CIRCUIT BREAKERS ARE IN THE CLOSED POSITION AND COULD CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
(9) Do a test of the blower assembly on the R/T mount:
(a) Push the PUSH TO TEST BLOWER switch.
1) Make sure the blower comes on.

Do the operational test for the weather radar system (Ref 34-41-02/501).
(11)
Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (Ref 24-22-00/201).

1. General

A. This subject has two tasks. The first task is for the removal of the weather radar (WXR) control panel. The second task is for the installation of the WXR control panel.
