 F.  The DH lights in each system may be turned off independent of the other system by pressing the DH light on the associated HI.
 2.  Receiver-Transmitter (Fig. 1)____________________
 A.  The receiver-transmitters are located side-by-side on shelf four of the E2 electronic rack. All electrical connections to the receiver-transmitters are made through a connector located on the R/T rear panel. An auxiliary connector located on the R/T front panel is provided for connection to test equipment.

 3.  Height Indicator (Fig. 1)
________________
 A.  Airplane altitude is read from a circular scale which has a range of 0 to 2500 feet. The scale is linear from 0 to 500 feet and is progressively compressed (logarithmic) from 500 to 2500 feet.
 B.  The DH cursor line is manually positioned by rotating the SET/TEST knob to the desired DH altitude as displayed by the digital counter at bottom of the HI. The horizontal DH cursor line is attached to the two outer tapes. During airplane descent (above DH), the DH cursor line is normally out of view at the bottom of the scale. As the airplane approaches the DH altitude, the cursor line starts to rise into view and will coincide with the selected DH altitude when the DH altitude appears on the altitude tape, and will move with the tape towards the altitude lubber line.
 C.  The DH counter provides a 4-digit indication of the adjusted DH from 0 to 2500 feet and is controlled by rotating the SET/TEST knob. The three right hand digits are adjustable and the left hand digit is a stationary zero reference painted on the dial mask. The counter display designates the altitude at which the adjustable trip DH circuits in the HI will be energized.
 D.  The LRRA warning flag is solenoid operated and will come into view whenever the solenoid is de-energized due to LRRA system faults or loss of power.
 4.  DH Lights (Fig. 1)
_________
 A.  A decision height indicator (DH) light is installed on each pilot's ADI and is controlled by the height indicator located on the same panel. Pressing the DH light on the ADI independently tests the light for burnout. The light goes out when released.
 5.  Attitude Director Indicator (Fig. 1)
___________________________
 A.  The rising runway symbol in each pilot's ADI receives three signals from its associated LRRA system (LRRA-1 - captain's ADI, LRRA-2 - first officer's ADI): a LRRA valid signal, DC altitude (height above terrain), and a 200 foot trip height above terrain signal which allows the rising runway symbol to move upward toward the airplane facimile in center of the ADI if the ADI has received a VOR/LOC valid signal. The altitude function of the rising runway symbol indicates airplane 200 foot or less height obove terrain.
