(2) Remove the LRRA R/T:
(a)
Loosen the knurled nut that holds the R/T on the rack.
(b)
Pull the R/T off the rack to disengage the electrical connector.
(c)
Remove the R/T.

(1) Make sure the applicable circuit breaker is open:
(a)
P18 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) RADIO ALTM-1
(b)
P6 Circuit Breaker Panel
1) RADIO ALTM-2

(2) Install the LRRA R/T:
(a)
Carefully push the R/T on the rack
1) Make sure the pins on the rear of the R/T engage with the electrical connector on the shelf.
(b)
Tighten the knurled clamp nut.

(3) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close the applicable circuit breaker:
(a) P18 Load Control Center - Left
1) RADIO ALTM-1

LRRA HEIGHT INDICATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This subject has two tasks, a removal and an installation of the height indicator for the low range radio altimeter system (LRRA).
B. A height indicator is installed on each pilots' instrument panel.

CAUTION:_______OPEN THE CIRCUIT BREAKERS THAT FOLLOW. IF YOU DO NOT OPEN THE CIRCUIT BREAKERS, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE HEIGHT INDICATOR.
(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
NOTE: Open the ALTM-1 circuit breaker when it is necessary to
____ remove the LRRA-1 height indicator. Open the ALTM-2 circuit breaker to remove the LRRA-2 height indicator.

(2) Remove the height indicator:
(a) Remove the height indicator from the instrument panel.
