 (b)  
Examine waveguide sections 1, 2 and 3 for damage or moisture.

 (c)  
Examine all of the gaskets.

 (d)  
Replace all gaskets that show damage.

 (e)  
Make sure the dummy load is installed on the waveguide switch with the four screws and the lockwashers.

 (f)  
Loosely attach the waveguide switch to the waveguide switch bracket with the four screws and the lockwashers.

 (g)  
Install waveguide section 2 to section 1 and loosely attach it with four screws and lockwashers.

 (h)  
Align waveguide section 2 with a gasket to the waveguide switch and loosely attach it with the four screws and lockwashers.

 (i)  
Align waveguide section 3 with a gasket to the waveguide switch and loosely attach it with the four screws and lockwashers.


 CAUTION: BE CAREFUL TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE WAVEGUIDE SWITCH WHEN
_______ THE SCREWS ARE TIGHTENED. IF YOU TIGHTEN THE SCREWS TOO MUCH, DAMAGE TO THE WAVEGUIDE SWITCH CAN OCCUR.
 (j)  
Tighten the waveguide flange screws.

 (k)  
Tighten the four screws that attach the waveguide switch to the waveguide switch bracket.

 (l)  
Connect the electrical connector to the waveguide switch.

Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:


 (a)  P6 Load Control Center - Right
 1) WEATHER RADAR AC
 2) WEATHER RADAR DC

 (6)  Do the operational test of the weather radar system
 (Ref 34-41-00/501).

 D. Put the Airplane Back to its Usual Condition
 S 414-013
 (1)  
Close the forward access door (1103).

 (2)
Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (Ref 24-22-00/201).

 WEATHER RADAR RECEIVER/TRANSMITTER MOUNT
________________________________________ BLOWER ASSEMBLY - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General_______
 A.  This subject has two tasks. The first task is a removal of the blower assembly on the receiver/transmitter (R/T) mount. The second task is for the installation of the blower assembly on the R/T mount.
 B.  The blower assembly on the R/T mount is found in the lower nose compartment. You use this procedure to remove the blower assembly only, not the full R/T mount.

 C.  Procedure
 S 864-003
 (1)  Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
 (a)  P6 Load Control Center - Right
 1) WEATHER RADAR R/T

 S 014-006
 (2)  
Do this task to remove the R/T from the R/T mount:
 Receiver/Transmitter Removal (Ref 34-41-41/401).


 S 024-007

 (3)  
Remove the blower assembly from the R/T mount:

 (a)  
Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower assembly.

 (b)  
Remove the four screws that attach the blower assembly to the R/T mount.

 (c)  
Carefully remove the blower assembly from the R/T mount.

 (d)  
Put dust caps on the two electrical connectors.
