_ officer's EADI and EHSI go out of view.
 (i)  Hold the DN/RT test switch on the No. 2 VHF NAV control panel in the DN/RT position. 1) Make sure this sequence occurs:
 a)  These indications occur for approximately three seconds: 1 The glide slope and localizer pointers on the first
_ officer's EADI and EHSI are out of view.
 b)  These indications occur after approximately three seconds: 1 The glide slope pointers on the first officer's EADI
_ and EHSI move one dot in the down direction. 2 The localizer pointer on the first officer's EADI
_ and EHSI move one dot in the right direction. c) These indications occur after approximately 23 seconds: 1 The glide slope and localizer pointers on the first
_ officer's EADI and EHSI go out of view.
 (j)  
Put the digital flight control system in the approach mode (AMM 22-11-01/501). 1) Make sure you cannot start the VOR/ILS self-test from the

 No. 2 VHF NAV control panel.

 (k)  
Put the digital flight control system in the heading select mode (AMM 22-11-01/501).


 G.  VOR Flag Test
 S 715-005
 (1)  Do the VOR flag test:
 (a)  
Do the following steps for the operational test.

 (b)  
Set a local VOR frequency on the No. 1 and the No. 2 VHF NAV control panels. 1) Make sure the pointer flags in the two RDDMIs are out of

 view.


 (c)  
Open this circuit breaker:

 1)  P18 Load Control Center - Left
 a) VHF NAV-1 VOR/ILS


 (d)  
Make sure the narrow pointer flags show in the two RDDMIs.

 (e)  
Make sure the wide pointer flags in the two RDDMIs are out of view.

 (f)  
Close this circuit breaker:

 1)  P18 Load Control Center - Left
 a) VHF NAV-1 VOR/ILS


 (g)  
Make sure the pointer flags in the two RDDMIs are out of view.

 (h)  
Open this circuit breaker:

 1)  P6 Load Control Center - Right
 a) VHF NAV-2 VOR/ILS


 (i)  
Make sure the wide pointer flags show in the two RDDMIs.

 (j)  
Make sure the narrow pointer flags in the two RDDMIs are out of view.

 (k)  
Close this circuit breaker:

 1)  P6 Load Control Center - Right
 a) VHF NAV-2 VOR/ILS


 (l)  
Make sure the pointer flags in the two RDDMIs are out of view.


 H.  VHF NAV Transfer Switch Test
 S 715-008
 (1)  Do the VHF NAV transfer switch test:
 (a)  
Do the following steps for the operational test.

 (b)  
Set the VHF NAV transfer switch to the BOTH ON 1 position.

 (c)  
Do the self-test for system No. 1.

 1)  Make sure the captain's and the first officer's self-test displays are the same.

 (d)  
Set the VHF NAV transfer switch to the BOTH ON 2 position.

 (e)  
Do the self-test for system No. 2.

 1)  Make sure the captain's and the first officer's self-test displays are the same.

 (f)
Set the VHF NAV transfer switch to the NORMAL position.


 I.  EHSI Annunciations Test
 S 715-009
 (1)  Do the EHSI annunciations test:
 (a)  
Do the following steps for the operational test.

 (b)  
Set the VHF NAV transfer switch and tune the VHF NAV systems as specified in Table 501. 1) Make sure the annunciations on the EHSIs agree with


 Table 501.
