 A.  The flight history BITE is started holding the STATUS/HISTORY switch in the FLIGHT HISTORY position for a molment.
 B.  This causes the contents of the non-volatile memory to show.
 (1)  
The contents are shown by flight segment with FLIGHT 1 as the most recent.

 (2)  
The failure readout can include up to 24 failures that occurred during the last ten flight segments.

 (3)  
Each flight history sequence starts with a full segment, eight position, LED test pattern and stops with the display, END TEST.

 (4)  
If no failures are kept in memory, the display reads PREVIOUS, TEN, FLIGHTS, OK.

 (5)  
If failures have been found, the display shows the applicable failure codes (Fig. 101) in the related flight segment.


 NOTE: To stop a flight history readout, the STATUS/HISTORY switch
____ must be held in the PRESENT STATUS position until CANCEL shows. Release the switch and END TEST will show which stops the flight history readout.

 GROUND PROXIMITY WARNING SYSTEM - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

 1.  General_______
 A.  There are two tasks in this procedure; one is an operational test and the other a system test. The operational test is self-contained and uses on-board equipment. The system test is a complete check of the GPWS, requiring additional equipment and successful completion of the operational test.

 (1) Push the GPWS INOP light on the first officer's instrument panel.
 (a) Make sure the INOP light comes on.

Release the GPWS INOP light.

Push and hold the SYS TEST switch on the GPWS panel for 10 seconds.

Make sure the INOP light comes on.
