 B.  The waveguide switch is installed on a bracket aft of the forward pressure bulkhead in the lower nose compartment. The bracket is found adjacent to the WXR receiver/transmitter mount.

 B.  Procedure
 S 864-002
 (1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
 (a)  P6 Load Control Center - Right
 1) WEATHER RADAR AC
 2) WEATHER RADAR DC

 S 014-008
 (2)  
Open the forward access door (1103) to get access to the waveguide switch.

 S 024-009

 (3)  
Remove the waveguide switch with the dummy load:

 (a)  
Disconnect the electrical connector from the waveguide switch.

 (b)  
Remove the four screws and lockwashers that attach waveguide section 2 to the No. 2 port on the waveguide switch.

 (c)  
Remove the four screws and lockwashers that attach waveguide section 2 to section 1.

 (d)  
Remove waveguide section 2 and its gasket.

 (e)  
Remove the four screws and lockwashers that attach waveguide section 3 to the No. 3 port on the waveguide switch.

 (f)  
Hold the waveguide switch and remove the four screws and lockwashers that attach the switch to the waveguide switch bracket.

 (g)  
Remove the waveguide switch and dummy load.

 NOTE: The dummy load is attached to the waveguide switch

 with four screws.

 (h)  Put dust caps on the electrical connector and on the waveguides and the waveguide switch.
