Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

(2)
Make sure these circuit breakers are closed:
(a)
P18 Load Control Center - Left
1) RADIO ALTM-1
2) EFIS SYM GEN LEFT
3) EFIS CTRL PNL LEFT
4) EADI-1
5) INSTR PANEL
(b)
P6 Load Control Center - Right
1) RADIO ALTM-2
2) EFIS SYM GEN RIGHT
3) EFIS CTRL PNL RIGHT
4) EADI-2

(3)
Turn the EFIS TRANSFER control on the P5 overhead panel to the NORMAL position.

(4)
Do a test of the LRRA display on the EADIs:
(a)
Make sure the value -3(|3) feet comes into view in the right corner of each EADI display.
(b)
Turn the BRT control on the applicable EFIS control panel (Captain's - CP-1 or First Officer's - CP-2). 1) Make sure the brightness of the display changes.

(c) Turn the EFIS TRANSFER control on the P5 overhead panel to the BOTH ON 1, BOTH ON 2, and NORMAL positions. 1) Make sure the radio altitude value comes into view on the
two EADIs for all the positions of the switch. 2) Make sure the altitude stays in the limit of -3(|3) feet. 3) Turn the EFIS TRANSFER control to the NORMAL position.

(5) Do the captain's LRRA-1 decision height (DH) and radio altitude (RA) self-test:
(a) Push and hold the TEST switch on the EFIS symbol generator 1 (SG-1).
NOTE: Wait for 10 seconds.

1) Make sure the value for the radio altitude on the captain's EADI shows 150 feet.
(b)
Release the TEST switch.
1) Make sure the value for the radio altitude goes back to -3 (|3) feet.
(c)
Set the DH control knob on the captain's EFIS control panel (CP-1) to the lowest value (0 or below).
NOTE: The radio altitude value on the EADI-1 will possibly
____
flash on and off.
(d)
Push and hold the TEST switch on SG-1.
(e)
Turn the DH control knob on the CP-1 to show 150 feet on the CP-1 DH REF display. 1) Make sure the radio altitude value flashes on and off
(yellow) for approximately 3 seconds and then stays on.
(f)
While you push and hold in the TEST switch on SG-1, push and release the RST (DH reset) switch on the CP-1. 1) Make sure the display stays the same (150 feet).
(g)
Release the TEST switch on SG-1.
1) Make sure the radio altitude value on the EADI-1 goes back to -3(|3) feet.
(h)
Open this circuit breaker:
1) P18 Load Control Center - Left
a) RADIO ALTM-1
2) Make sure a yellow box with an 'RA' (radio altitude) comes into view in the right corner of EADI-1.
(i)
Close this circuit breaker:
1) P18 Load Control Center - Left
a) RADIO ALTM-1
2) Make sure a radio altitude value of -3(|3) feet comes into view and you do not see the 'RA' yellow box.

(6) Do the captain's LRRA-1 DH and RA self-test again but use the first officer's equipment to test radio altimeter system 2 (LRRA-2).
(a) Symbol generator 2 (SG-2), control panel 2 (CP-2), EADI-2, and the RADIO ALTM-2 circuit breaker.
