1) Make sure the radar returns on each EHSI decreases in intensity.

DO NOT OPERATE THE WEATHER RADAR IN A HANGAR OR OTHER ENCLOSURE.
DO NOT OPERATE THE WEATHER RADAR WHILE THE AIRPLANE IS IN A HANGAR OR OTHER ENCLOSURE. MAKE SURE NO PERSONS ARE IN THE AREA 15 FEET OR LESS FROM THE ANTENNA WHEN IT TRANSMITS RF ENERGY. RF ENERGY CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
(a)
Push the WX MODE switch on the WXR control panel.
(b)
Set the range switch on each EFIS control panel to move the radar targets to the center of each EHSI.
(c)
Turn the TILT control on the WXR control panel to 0 degrees.
1) Make sure the tilt message on the EHSIs show the correct tilt angle | 0.5 degree.
(d)
Turn the antenna TILT control on the WXR control panel in steps from 0 to plus 4.75 degrees. 1) Make sure the tilt messages on the EHSIs show the correct
tilt angle | 1 degree. 2) Make sure the close in targets on the EHSIs decrease in intensity.
(e)
Turn the antenna TILT control on the WXR control panel in steps from plus 5 to 15.00 degrees. 1) Make sure the tilt messages on the EHSIs shows the correct
tilt angle | 2 degree.
(f)
Turn the antenna TILT control on the WXR control panel in steps from 0 to minus 4.75 degrees. 1) Make sure the tilt messages on the EHSIs, show the correct
