A. General
(1) The antenna transfer relays are installed on shelf 4 of the electronics equipment rack (E3).

(1) For the ILS transfer relay No. 1, open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) P18 Load Control Center - Left

(2) For the ILS transfer relay No. 2, open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
(a) P6 Load Control Center - Right
1) VOR/LOC-2

(3) Remove the antenna transfer relay:
(a)
If the RF attenuator is installed, do these steps: 1) Disconnect the coaxial cable from the RF attenuator. 2) Remove the RF attenuator from the relay (Ref 34-31-91/401).
(b)
Disconnect the coaxial cables and electrical cables from the relay.
(c)
Remove the screws that attach the relay to the shelf.
(d)
Remove the antenna transfer relay from the shelf.

(3) Install the antenna transfer relay:
(a)
Align the relay to the holes in the shelf.
(b)
Install the screws to attach the relay to the shelf.
(c)
If it is necessary, install the RF attenuator on the relay (AMM 34-31-91/401).
(d)
Connect the coaxial cables and electrical cables to the relay and tighten with your hand.

(4) For the ILS transfer relay No. 1, remove ths DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker:
(a) P18 Load Control Center - Left
1) VOR/LOC-1

(5) For the ILS transfer relay No. 2, remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker:
(a) P6 Load Control Center - Right
1) VOR/LOC-2

Do the ILS Antenna Transfer Relay Test part of the VOR/ILS System Test (Ref 34-31-00/501).
