 (an) Open these circuit breakers:
 1)  P6 Load Control Center - Right
 a) INSTR XFMR-2
 b) VHF NAV-2 VOR/ILS
 c) DAA NO. 2 FMC AC
 d) DAA NO. 2 IRS AC
 e) DAA NO. 2 IRS DC
 f) DAA FMC NO. 2

 (ao) Put headings of 120°, 240° and 000° into the ISDU for the left IRS. 1) Make sure the narrow pointers in the two RDDMIs follow the
 left IRS heading. (ap) Set the IRS transfer switch to the NORMAL position. (aq) Set the VHF NAV transfer switch to the NORMAL position. (ar) Put headings of 120°, 240° and 000° into the ISDU for the left
 IRS. 1) Make sure the compass card and the narrow pointer in the captain's RDDMI follow the left IRS heading. 2) Make sure the compass card in the first officer's RDDMI does not move. 3) Make sure the narrow pointer in the first officer's RDDMI follows the left IRS heading. (as) Close these circuit breakers:
 1)  P6 Load Control Center - Right
 a) INSTR XFMR-2
 b) VHF NAV-2 VOR/ILS
 c) DAA NO. 2 FMC AC
 d) DAA NO. 2 IRS AC
 e) DAA NO. 2 IRS DC
 f) DAA FMC NO. 2

 (at) Set the IRS transfer switch to the BOTH ON R position. (au) Set the VHF NAV transfer switch to the BOTH ON 2 position. (av) Open these circuit breakers:
 1)  P18 Load Control Center - Left
 a) INSTR XFMR-1
 b) VHF NAV-1 VOR/ILS
 c) DAA NO. 1 FMC AC

 I.  LOC Test
 S 735-017
 (1)  Do the LOC test:
 (a)  
Do the following steps for the system test.

 (b)  
Align the inertial reference system (AMM 34-28-01/201).

 (c)  
Set the output of the ramp test set to supply a maximum on-course localizer signal at a frequency of 108.10 MHz.

 (d)  
Set a frequency of 108.10 MHz on the No. 1 VHF NAV control panel. 1) Make sure the glide slope scales, localizer scales, and


 localizer pointers show on the captain's EADI and EHSI.

 2)  Make sure the localizer pointer on the captain's EADI and EHSI is in the center.
 3)  Make sure the course deviation bar shows on the captain's EHSI.
 4)  Make sure the localizer pointer in the captain's standby attitude/ILS indicator is in the center.
 5)  Make sure the LOC flag in the standby attitude/ILS indicator is out of view.
 6)  Make sure the to-from display on the captain's EHSI is blank.
 7)  Make sure the narrow pointers in the two RDDMIs are at the 3 o'clock position.
