 A.  This subject has two tasks. The first task is to remove the weather radar (WXR) receiver/transmitter (R/T). The second task is to install the WXR R/T.
 B.  The R/T is found in the forward nose compartment. To get access to the R/T it is necessary to go through the access door for the lower nose compartment.

 (a)  P6 Load Control Center - Right
 1) WEATHER RADAR AC
 2) WEATHER RADAR DC

 (2)  AIRPLANES WITH COLLINS WXR-700X WEATHER RADAR SYSTEMS; Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:
 (a)  P6 Load Control Center - Right
 1) WEATHER RADAR R/T

 (3)  Do this task to remove the WXR R/T: Remove the Rack Mounted E/E Box (Ref 20-10-07/201).

 (a)  P6 Load Control Center - Right
 1) WEATHER RADAR AC
 2) WEATHER RADAR DC

 (2)  AIRPLANES WITH COLLINS WXR-700X WEATHER RADAR SYSTEMS; Make sure this circuit breaker is open with a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag attached:
 (a)  P6 Load Control Center - Right
 1) WEATHER RADAR R/T

 (3)  Remove the dust caps from the electrical connectors.

 CAUTION: CAREFULLY ALIGN THE WAVEGUIDE FLANGES AND ELECTRICAL
_______ CONNECTORS. DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
 (4)  Do a check of the waveguide connection.
 (a)  Make sure there is no dirt or moisture.
