 S 864-246
 (1)  Make sure this circuit breaker is open with a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag attached:
 (a)  P6 Load Control Center - Right
 1) WEATHER RADAR R/T

 (2)  If necessary open the nose radome as follows:
 (a)  Remove the screws that attach the radome to the fuselage bulkhead.
 WARNING: DO NOT OPEN THE NOSE RADOME IF THE WIND IS MORE THAN 15
_______ KNOTS. IF YOU OPEN THE NOSE RADOME IN A WIND, THE RADOME CAN MOVE QUICKLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (b)  Open the radome and hold it in the open position by the installation of the support rods on each side.

 (3)  
Remove dust caps from the waveguide flanges on the antenna pedestal and the antenna flat plate.

Install the flat plate:

 WARNING:_______ USE TWO PERSONS AND A SAFELY INSTALLED WORKSTAND DURING THE FLAT PLATE INSTALLATION. THE FLAT PLATE WEIGHS APPROXIMATELY 5 POUNDS.
 BE CAREFUL WITH THE FLAT PLATE DURING INSTALLATION. CAREFULLY INSTALL THE FLAT PLATE TO PREVENT INJURY TO YOU OR DAMAGE TO THE FLAT PLATE.
 (a)  Turn the two clamp jaw bolts on the antenna pedestal counterclockwise to open the jaws.
 NOTE:____ Do not move the ring clamp on the elevation zero monitor. Make sure the monitor dial continues to show 0 degrees. The elevation monitor will not continue to be aligned.
 (b) (c)  Make sure the cotter pin in each clamp jaw bolt is correctly attached.Carefully set the mounting flange of the flat plate on the mounting flange of the antenna pedestal.
 NOTE:____ Make sure the guide pins on the pedestal mounting flange engage the holes on the flat plate mounting flange.
 (d) (e) (f)  Tighten each bolt to approximately 20 pounds-inches.Attach lockwire from one clamp jaw bolt to the other.Connect the airplane electrical connector to the antenna pedestal connector.
 (5)  S 864-127Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).
 (6)  S 864-130Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close this circuit breaker: (a) P6 Load Control Center - Right 1) WEATHER RADAR R/T
 (7)  S 714-135Do the operational test for the weather radar system (Ref 34-41-02/501).
 (8)  S 864-141If electrical power is not necessary, remove electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
 (9)  S 434-142Disengage the support rods that hold the radome open.
