 (1)  Remove the caps and the plugs from all the electrical connectors and receptacles before you connect each connector.

 WARNING: DO NOT GET SOLVENTS IN YOUR MOUTH, OR YOUR EYES, OR ON YOUR
_______ SKIN. DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES FROM SOLVENTS. SOLVENTS ARE HAZARDOUS MATERIALS. SOLVENTS MAY BE FLAMMABLE OR HARMFUL TO THE ENVIRONMENT. REFER TO PRODUCT MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS (MSDS) AND LOCAL REQUIREMENTS FOR PROPER HANDLING PROCEDURES.
 (2)  Clean the area of the harness support bracket around the J2 connector with the cloth made moist with solvent, Series 92 (AMM 20-30-92).

 (3)  Install the front wire harness (Fig. 401):
 NOTE: The torque value for all the cable clamp bolts is 36-40
____ pound-inches (4.1-4.5 newton-meters). All the electrical connectors must be tightened with your hands.
 (a)  
Put the front wire harness in its position on the forward side of the APU engine.

 (b)  
Attach the J2 connector (33) to the harness support bracket with the four screws (34). 1) Tighten the screws (34) to 10-12 pound-inches

 (1.2-1.4 newton-meters).

 (c)  
Attach the wire harness to the harness support bracket with the clamp (32) and the bolt (6).

 (d)  
Attach the wire harness to drain line for the fuel pump with the clamp (32), the bolt (35), and the nut (14).

 (e)  
Connect the P15 connector (29) to the N2 speed sensor.


 NOTE: The connector is fully tightened when you cannot see

 the red color band.

 (f)
Attach the wire harness to the fuel drain line with the clamp (30), the spacer (31), the bolt (35), and the nut (14).

 (g)  
Connect the P17 connector (27) to the IGV actuator.


 NOTE: The connector is fully tightened when you cannot see
____
 the red color band.

 (h)  
Attach the wire harness to the oil scavenge tube with the clamp (28), the bolt (36), and the nut (14).

 (i)  
Attach the wire harness to the drain line for the fuel pump with the clamp (37), the bolt (36), and the nut (14).

 (j)  
Attach the wire harness to the fuel drain line with the clamp (37), the bolt (36), and the nut (14).

 CAUTION: DO NOT USE FORCE TO INSTALL THE P18 ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR.
_______ DAMAGE TO THE N1 SENSOR CAN OCCUR IF THE CONNECTOR IS INCORRECTLY ALIGNED.
 (k)  Connect the P18 connector (41) to the N1 speed sensor.
 NOTE: The connector is fully tightened when you cannot see

 the red color band.

 (l)  
Attach the wire harness to the oil scavenge tube with the two clamps (25), the two bolts (38 and 39), and the two nuts (14).

 (m)  
Attach the clamp (25) and the clamp on the oil scavenge tube to the load gearbox bracket with the bolt (26) and the nut (24).

 (n)  
Attach the two clamps (25) to the remaining brackets on the oil scavenge tube with the two bolts (26) and the two nuts (24).

 (o)  
Attach the P18 section of the harness to the load gearbox brackets with the two clamps (23), the two bolts (40), and the two nuts (22).

 (p)  
Attach the wire harness to the drain line for the diverter valve control with the two clamps (13), the two bolts (12), and the two nuts (14).

 (q)  
Attach the wire harness to the compressor case bracket with the clamp (13), the bolt (12), and the nut (14).
