 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure contains the tasks to remove and install the support block for the cone bolt. The support block is a receptacle for the cone bolt on the aft shockmount. The support block connects to the links on the APU. It is necessary to hold the APU with a fishpole hoist and a sling to remove the support block.
 B.  The support block for the cone bolt is on the top aft side of the APU. You can get access to the support block through the APU access doors.

Make sure the APU control switch on the P5 panel is OFF and attach a DO-NOT-OPERATE tag.

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:

 1) 6K18 APU ALTN CONT

 (b)  
P83 Panel, E8 Aft Equipment Center
 1) APU PRIMARY CONT

Open the APU access doors:

 (a)  
Open the latches on the APU access doors.
