Remove the T1/T6 sensor (AMM 49-61-05/401), if necessary.
(e)
Remove the bolts (1) and nuts (2) that attach the left screen to the right screen.
(f)
Remove the bolts (4), washers (5) on the front and rear of the left plenum and threaded end rods (3) from the left inlet screen (9).
(g)
Remove the nuts (6), bolts (8), washers (7) and a half washer (10) from the lower front and rear of the left plenum and at the bottom of the left inlet screen (9).
CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU CAREFULLY REMOVE THE LEFT INLET SCREEN FROM
_______ THE LEFT PLENUM. DAMAGE CAN OCCURE TO INLET SCREEN.
(h) Remove the left inlet screen (9) from the left plenum.

Do the steps that follow to remove the right inlet screen (9):
(a)
Disconnect the P6 ignition cable and electrical connector (AMM 49-41-03/401), if necessary. 1) Remove the ignition exciter (AMM 49-41-03/401), if
necessary.
(b)
Loosen the fastener studs from the lower right door for the air inlet. 1) Remove the lower right door for the air inlet.
(c)
Remove the bolts (4), washers (5) on the front and rear of the right plenum and threaded end rods (3) from the right inlet screen (9).
(d)
Remove the nuts (6), bolts (8), washers (7) and a half washer (10) from the lower front and rear of the right plenum and at the bottom of the right inlet screen (9).
CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU CAREFULLY REMOVE THE RIGHT INLET SCREEN FROM
_______ THE RIGHT PLENUM. DAMAGE CAN OCCURE TO INLET SCREEN.
(e) Remove the right inlet screen (9) from the right plenum.

CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT HIT THE INLET PLENUM WITH YOUR HANDS OR
_______ TOOLS. IT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE COMPOSITE MATERIAL.
MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT LEAN OR SIT ON THE INLET PLENUM WHEN YOU INSTALL THE INLET SCREEN. IT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE COMPOSITE MATERIAL.
MAKE SURE YOU COLLECT ALL REMOVED ITEMS. LOOSE ITEMS CAN CAUSE INTERNAL DAMAGE TO THE APU.
(1)
Do the steps that follow to install the right inlet screen:
(a)
Put the right inlet screen (9) in the right plenum.
(b)
Lubricate the bolts threads and washers with the engine oil.
